Area Properties Guide
Explore area property design in FLO.W Notion template—goals, core directions, gap analysis, and periodic calibration for a clear long-term goal system.
Primary Area Properties
- Area Goal: What you most want to achieve in this direction, equivalent to setting a long-term goal for yourself, telling yourself "where I'm heading."
- Area Description: Used to write your thoughts and philosophy about doing this. Why do it? What value do you want to create? Sometimes it's easy to get lost in the process—looking back at this passage can help you rediscover your original intention.
- Core Directions: Breaking down the big goal into several actionable paths, turning "goal" into "how to do it."
- Area Gap: Self-diagnosis—what's missing now? Not enough resources? Not enough time? Or blind spots in understanding? Write it down to remind yourself what weaknesses to address.
- Area Calibration: Timing points for periodic review. For example, check quarterly: is the goal still right? Should the direction be adjusted? Prevents working hard but going off track.
Reference:

The overall logic is: Set goal first → Clarify why → How to do it → What's missing → Periodic review
