How to Auto-Expand Database Sub-Items in Notion

Solve the issue where Notion database sub-items automatically collapse after every page refresh, by adding a Parent item filter condition to keep sub-items expanded.

Problem Background

  1. A Notion database has Sub-items mode enabled
  2. Every time the page is refreshed, the sub-items collapse, requiring you to manually expand them each time you view the page

Solution

Add a filter condition with the criteria "Parent item: Is not empty"
