How to record notes without an area assignment?

FLO.W's Area module includes an "Unassigned Notes" view that filters all uncategorized notes, letting you review them collectively and create areas when patterns emerge.

Why can't areas expand infinitely?

The template uses a deliberate two-tier Area and sub-Area structure. More levels lead to bloated management and information silos. Use Projects or Topic Notes for finer classification instead.

Why are principles notes rather than areas?

Areas are long-term responsibility zones (rooms), while Notes hold specific knowledge (books). Personal principles are content to be referenced repeatedly, so they belong in the Notes database linked to the relevant Area.
