When your database reaches a certain width, Notion displays an ugly gray scrollbar at the bottom of the database. Today we'll solve this problem without any plugins.
Removing the Notion Database Scrollbar on Mac
- Open System Settings and search for the keyword "scrollbar"
- Under the "Show scroll bars" option, select "When scrolling"

Close the Notion desktop app

Find the Notion application icon, then right-click and select Properties

Copy the following code
--enable-features=OverlayScrollbarPlease note that there is a space at the very beginning of this code. Make sure to copy it along with the space — don't leave it out.

After copying the code, paste it at the end of the "Target" field in the Properties window you opened in Step 1, then click "Apply"

Launch the Notion desktop app, and the scrollbar should be gone
