Basic Usage of Save to Notion
Setting Up a Clip Form
First, click the extension icon, then log in to your Save to Notion account. You can log in directly with a Google account or use your own email.

After logging in, create a clip form by following these steps:
- Click the Add First Form button
- Click Add to Existing Page/Database, and your Notion workspace will appear. If it doesn't show up, make sure you're logged in to your Notion account in the browser first
- Search for the database where you want to save clipped articles — this step is crucial

After selecting the database where you want to save articles, you'll proceed to the next setup step.
Find Clip Action and change Bookmark to Extract Page Content. This ensures that both text and images are clipped to Notion — otherwise, only a web bookmark will be saved.

Find the Add New Field option and click it to reveal the database fields. You can set default values for these fields, so when you successfully clip an article, these fields will be automatically filled with the default values.

Once everything is set up, click the Save Form button to save your clip form template.
Start Clipping Articles
On the page you want to clip, click the Save to Notion extension button, select the clip form you want to use, and click Save Page to save the article to your Notion database.
